Children are our future

Every generation fears the next and mine is no different. We all feel like bad asses in our youth, from the preppiest of preps to the honest deadly thugs. We are invincible and no one dare mess with us. Sad fact is youth truly is something to fear for it knows no better then itself. With age comes wisdom. Wisdom is knowledge + respect for the unknown. Youth lacks that respect and frankly that's the most dangerous part about it

the truth of the matter is we live in a fucked up world full of fucked up people. I have hope for the future, but at times it feels like a false blind hope.

End is near

The end is near. The time is approaching. Cities will fall. Buildings crumble under the weight of impending doom. Nothing can be done. The game has long been won. We battled with nature to assert our opposable thumb dominance. Well as prideful as we were nature has seemed humble, but in fact she is crafty and calculating. She knew from the start the war was hers. The battles have been mixed, but the war was won at the dawn of time.

Power On

The weight of the world on his shoulders, the struggle never quits. He keeps us steady upright and proper all the while no thanks given no praise bestowed. Why does he do it? No one truly knows, most in his situation would drop the giant ball that is this existence. Why do we pile on, adding more to this poor man's burden? Cuz we are evil bastards that's why.

Ready for the next challenge to move to grow. Work has begun and I can't wait to get into the full swing of things. Have a family to take care of and I refuse to drop the ball. If I prove myself and make real nice I can try and move up through the ranks. Who knows I maybe dragged back out to Vegas when they open the new store in 2012 but that's a distant idea for now. With that said on to DAY 2 and a much better tomorrow.

What's old is new again

Love me some rock music. Fortunately two of my favorite bands released new albums this year.

Yes that right I ran out and bought Blink today and I must say I'm happy I did. Finally my truck is filled with sounds other then Foo Fighters or Eminem. I buy music rarely, but when I do invest I believe I make solid decisions as what would be worth listening to. What makes me sad is my change of taste these days.

Blink isn't the only former favorite to release new material, but my former faves brought forth material that, though honest to their original sound, I just didn't feel myself getting into. This being the fact has made me question has my taste completely changed with age. I used to live and die musically based on a handful of artists: Staind, ICP, Eminem, and a collage of works from the Offspring, Green Day, Chili Peppers, and Foo. Now looking at my traveling CDs (yes I said CDs! I refuse to fold to Steve Jobs and his world dominating devices of control! Written on my iPad) I only bring along things done by Foo Fighters, Eminem and now Blink. Staind and AFI formerly my favorite artists don't even come close to making the cut for non radio listening, oddly enough AFI fueled electronica group BlaqAudio makes the cute when I feel like dancing though. (side note: by dance I mean slide my butt back and forth in my seat. Ya know like a dog with a funky itch.) though I can still fake some Juggalo swagger I'm so far outside of the Psychopathic Family it's mind-blowing to ever think I was one of them.
I guess what it all breaks down to is, 30 is as farm from 20 as humanly possible so it's only sensible for tastes to change. What I must recognize is those changes don't mean I'm in any way a different person they I ever was. I'm still the one and only D and the young D is still in me. Oh also recognizing things change with age this will be the last post where I ever make any mention of my quote unquote SWAGGER. Never again shall I type any form of Swagger or Swag. I'm far to mature to speak of the swagga as it's an ignorant word to begin with. As most have retired CRUNK from their vocabulary let me be the first to start the death of SWAGGER.

Freeing Thoughts of fleeing the future

So much goes unspoken, words remain unsaid, these secret feelings are the only thing keeping you from the land of the dead. The living never appreciate what they have until it's gone, but the dead savor life so much they can taste it. Yes the risen dead take lives so the living can appreciate it more. So many people walking around not understanding the blessing they've been given, a feeding demon or a gnawing zombie will most definitely make you appreciate your life much better.
So all these fear of the dead rising to reclaim this world is ludicrous. They don't come to simply rule nor feed. They come to show you the way to the truth. LIFE IS PRECIOUS. So it would probably be best to go out and live it to the fullest wouldn't you think?

DAMN RIGHT IM READY!!!

I'm ready to run my fat ass far far away. When you get right down to it these harbingers of pain and a gory death can't be reasoned with, and personally I'm un easy around guns so until I become one with my samurai sword I'm pretty much a goner when the undead rise.
