Truer then True

This is why the "hip & trendy" must die. Well it's not on us to take care of them they will without fail do it to themselves. So being as far away from hip trendy and/or fashionable as I am one thing comes to mind "I am moving to to LA? Por que!". It's the land of dreams, of opportunity, and unfortunately Gigantic Jackasses. Fortunately for me I've honed a dipshit avoidance technique that has done me well over the years. So many little tricks I've implemented to avoid drama; I am most definitely looking forward to trying it all out in a new location. Change will do a mind body and soul good.

Today or Tomorrow

Face the day as if there is no tomorrow....
So what will today bring? Anything on the agenda of what must be done anywhere near as crucial as equality? What is the measure of success when it comes to human rights? Some have strived farther then others. Watching a news report on what is similar about all 900 MLK jr Boulevards (besides the name of course) shows no matter how much things change often still they remain the same. Think about it, if anyone of your friends tell you they are lost and currently find themselves stranded on Martin Luther King jr BLVD what advice do you give them? That's right you tell them to get the hell off that street. It doesn't matter the city or state it just isn't the place you'd want to be(unless born and raised on the damn street, of course in that case you dream of getting out but often that never happens).
So as a product of the DREAM come true let me say this...

There are more dreams to be had!
Yes, the community the original dream was about has come a long way. Hell, a once thought impossible act came true in the last presidential election. The question I ask is why hasn't the dream been expanded. We have groups of people who get their rights denied on the daily, but we act as if it's not quite to as important.
Mental illness is still looked upon as the plague of the weak minded like it's still 1940. Yes we say we have come so much further, but have we really? No we don't strap them to tables and shock them anymore(so they say), but loading someone up with pills and sending them on their way isn't a treatment it's doping plain and simple.
Day in and day out homosexuality is still treated as a plague a curse or an unspoken unpleasantry. So day by day the more they speak of wanting to marry what do we do? Sweep them away with scripture or "moral" judgements. We are all about love and respect, but since their love is different then we refuse them the right to express their feelings to the world through a publicly recognized marriage.

Today is decent let's make tomorrow GREAT!
We as a country have come a long way in the battle for equal rights equal treatment equal EQUALNESS, but I say we can all do more. Be it today or tomorrow(titular line so pay attention HA!) change is still needed and progress still to come. We are dominating the battles against hate but believe me
the WAR has not yet been WON

How many people do you call friend? Are you a super open person who would deem most acquaintances friends? Maybe you are a little more careful with your feelings and only allow few important people into your life?

Whatever the case no matter the person friendships are an important part of the human existence. Where would you be without your friends? It's more then the fear of loneliness that drives us all together. At times you may feel it's best to be alone, but so often that is the wrong path to take. Often we need the interactions, the adventures, the all around good times only our friends can give.
So the question is do the ones you call FRIEND think the same of you? Or better yet, do you do all you can to make the ones you call friends feel appreciated and loved to the utmost. If not maybe you should. If you dont feel like it, well I guess you deserve to be alone you selfish bastard. HA!

World wide open

Rush around to see what will be. Each passing day a reminder that you haven't gotten to where you are going. The travel is hectic and the pace fluctuates from brisk to dead hour to hour. whatever it takes you must do. This move is what is needed to reveal the most true you

Not getting me

Try as you might you aren't going to suck me in. Hard as it is to stay level I refuse to tumble down to your level. You may have a worldly power at your side I have help from the ultimate power on High!

Ever felt like you are being forced to endure a soul sucking experience. Like each day is a battle and there never seems to be a winning side. Ever wonder why you bother to get up in the morning because in the end the day is going to make you beg for sweet release by the cold hand of death? If you say yes to any of those things then I know exactly where you are working. Lifes a bitch then you die and somewhere along the way you are forced to deal with pettiness stupidity and all around bitch assery... All I can say is keep your head up and keep pushing forward. Eventually you will find the end of that rainbow and the skittles at the end will definitely be worth it.

Big Change

This seems insane to me, but maybe now the world will make more sense to me. Guess it's just too true that things change when you are
TURNING THIRTY...

Horror show, fright fest, danger all around. Only one thing left to do. Hit the open road and be on our way. Have an idea of where we are going, but no idea which route to take to get there. So I'm going with the flow seeing where the road takes me, I have a direction all picked out just sitting back and enjoying the ride. So a toast to the open road the highways and interstates, the hitchhikers and whores, the homeless and the RVing retirees. The stories they have to tell, the horrid stories and their own personal hells. The uppers and downers to control your sleep and any and everything that makes you feel weak. Cheers to the open road cuz this boys gotta go!

Peace out bitches til next time

Life will be just fine, if you learn to LOVE the RIDE

Ride or Die, that's one way to live. Do what you gotta do is my personal philosophy. Live and let live, love and love HARD. Hate, don't have time for it! Honestly just think about how much time people waste on hating someone or something. Where does it get you? I don't understand why hate still runs so strong in the modern world.
The world is full of people with different upbringings, cultures, religions, and points of views. That being said why get irritated when someone doesn't feel the same as you; or has a completely opposite point of view? Guess I'm just naive, but always subscribed to the school of kill them with kindness. The thing is no one recognizes kindness definitely can kill them all and do it swiftly. Either it will end the drama or it may just cause it to move on. All I know is I'd rather be nice and happy then bitter and hate filled.

Year of the PUNKASS!

That's right it's 2011 and bitchassness will run rampant. The streets will flow with the juice of uber-douches. Yes be prepared, between Jersey Shore, Steven Tyler on Idol, every Kardashian working hard to extend the 15 minutes of fame started by one of them having sex on camera with the Price of Douches (sorry Ray J, Joe Francis & Kanye West will forever be the king and queen).

And the ultimate in punk ass insanity... A movie about a man who created a site (modeled after many other sites) is looking to take home all the glory during this years award season. Only caping off a stellar year where the same man was Time magazine's MAN of the YEAR (of course I ask for what? The site was not original and all it does is hook young people into thinking that friendships are defined by number of "wall posts" and for us grown folk the site sells off all our personal info to the highest bidder) Yes we are due for a great year. The trick is not to let the punks get to you.
