Xmas time

Well My friends it's now Christmas time. We are T-minus 4 days and 6 hours away from one of the most hallowed holidays in our country. It is a time for cheer laughter happiness and joy. Snow is falling all over the country and carolers are butchering joyous holiday tunes from coast to coast. Rich and Poor alike are flooding stores snatching up trinkets, gadgets, and do dads that will be returned come the new year. Yes my friends It is truly a magical time of year; or at least that's what the media would have you believe. TV shows Movies hell even the Radio work hard this time of year to convince you that with this new fallen snow and a few presents under the tree everything in your drab existence will improve. Well i say Ne in fact i say Bah humbug to them all. If you were having a shitty life up until Xmas what makes you think it'll improve do to the simple fact someone wasted there money to get you an I POD that u will no doubt break due to your continued streak of bad luck. No if '08 has been a horrible wretched time for you its safe to say '09 may just be the same. But lets all sit and pretend that these final weeks of the year will erase all your bad memories of things which transpired before.
Not that I don't believe in Xmas don't get me wrong. I truly do believe this time of year seems to bring out the best in some people, not all mind you. Hell if I didn't like this winter fun land time I wouldn't have scheduled to wed my beloved Nicole on Xmas Eve. That is going to make for one fun holiday. Hi everybody I'm a NEWLYWED. All I'm saying is I'm tired of being force fed some happy go lucky bullshit on how we are all suppose to picture our lives. Its a wonderful life my ass. I can name a few people that there is no doubt the world would be a better place if they had never graced us with their presence. Another fun thing that comes with this holiday is, well i don't know if you noticed, for every fun happy go lucky story of the holiday there is an awful lot of fucked up shitty stuff to go along with it. Murders, suicides, kidnappings, and worst of all POOR SPORTSMANSHIP. OK obviously I don't feel the troubles going on in sports trumps the rest just making sure i still had your attention.
As far as sports go there are some real interesting goings on that I have finally been able to pay attention to do to my lack of employment. College footballs lack of black coaches (yes people racism still exists in this world DUH that will be a whole new rant for another day), Arena football shutting down for a year (now i know many of you don't care, but frankly they had to be doing something right I mean it'd been around since '87 I had no idea personally but well now it very well could be gone for good), BOWL games are underway (Wish all these anti BCS people would just stop bitching and come up with a viable solution that can quickly and easily be put into effect until that day comes stop complaining ), college hoops and pro hoops are underway ( is there any question we won't have a repeat of last years NBA championships I mean yes it Way early but i don't see anyone stopping the Celtics from meeting the Lakers and whooping them again in the finals)
Well this has just been a brief run down on how I've seen things over the course of the last couple of weeks. How goes things with you peoples?

Shocked and Amazed

Thought I'd be sitting here bored out of my mind wishing, begging, and/or pleading to return to work. Scratch and claw my way back into my old position, but as i sit here staring at yet another screen away from the office i feel a renewed sense of happiness. No more backstabbing bitter bitches talking shit on everyone while smiling in your face like they aren't doing it to you. Who knew office work could be such a cut throat industry. We don't work for commision, no one has a better chance of going permanent then anyone else, there is honestly nothing to gain from being two faced and deceitful and yet they do it constantly. Frankly looking back on it I find it a bit amusing. So many fake people in a room waiting for the big bossman to throw a bone of a lower pay permanent position. Sad really, but thats how government works i suppose. All I know as i sit here waiting on the next opportunity for life to disappoint me i have no regrets. I like my life no i'm not in LOVE with all thats going on, but I know and truly believe it could be a whole lot worse.
In the end the job did rekindle my passion to write about the world around me and the funny things people do. Also made me realize why so many people hate on the government they make themselves an easy target. So for now I will continue to look for a better opportunity to make myself known to this world. D is coming and all shall bow before me. Umm a bit much right? Well I'm still coming and well you don't have to bow but you can at least kneel all I know is its blinding looking directly into my awesome glory.

Final days of disco aka end of dumbshit in my life

Well this is it people its finally happened I shant be returning to thy beloved R.O.V. Yes i know this comes as a shock, but it really shouldn't be much of one after all the job is temporary and technically it should be called SEASONAL and we have come to the close of a glorious election season. I look forward to being away from this place in all honesty. I have met some intriguing people that will more or less be somewhat memorable characters in this play that we call D's Life, but in the end its definitely time that I move on from this all to annoying phase in my life into the next hopefully more productive and far more eventful one. I take with me the memories of some crazy; good; bad; stupid; laughable; gruesome; annoying; and/or boring times. I also take with me some numbers and emails of people i feel are worth still hearing from. For the most part I have enjoyed myself here, but Ive also been frustrated to the highest point of Frustration on more then one occasion here. Still i will always remember my time in this office.
As for the future that is still unclear to me. All i know is next week i wont have to think about this place anymore and with this knowledge i feel as though a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I do need work don't get me wrong i will miss the paycheck, but work has always been a part of my life and I can do many different things to find a new place of employ. So all in all i feel I'm coming out on top of where i had been. Cheers to a new and brighter future and hooray for tommorow

Sports Talk

Ok finally had a day off in which i was able to watch myself a little football. I've been able to keep track of the season pretty well, but haven't been able to actually sit down and watch a game in about a month so Overall was pretty happy with having the ability to do so yesterday. Well after watching the Raiders surprisingly win the Titans finally lose and the Eagles sit McNabb i realize how crazy the game of football Really is. Then i checked out some basketball and hockey and realized I'm so outta sync when it comes to both those sports. I can't name any non SUPERSTAR players for shit in basketball and I had no idea where some players are now in hockey. Its been weird keeping up with those sports now that I no longer have my sports games to keep me up to date. Gotta run out and get a PS3 quick at this point. Frankly its sad how much i depended on those games to know some of the lesser known talent who were surprisingly good. Oh well thats life sometimes i mean i suppose that's why those games exist. All i know is I'm looking forward to a holiday weekend even though when its over I'll have a whole host of questions to answer about the direction my life has been taking. At least i have my football to distract me. Well the Eagles are shit so now its time for my playoff picture to change.
some top picks in each division are
NFC West Best
Arizona
49ers

NFC East
New York Giants
Dallas Cowboys

NFC North
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings

NFC South

New Orleans Saints

AFC West
No one deserves to win this shitty shitty division but i guess i gotta go Broncos still

AFC East
New York Jets
Miami Dolphins

AFC North

AFC South

Indy outta nowhere

still the superbowl is gonna be the two best teams in the end
NEW YORK GIANTS

Its Been Awhile

Since i Wrote a pointless blog and its Been Awhile since i gave a damn....

Well my friends I'm coming live from post election headquarters and I'm proud to say i survived one bitch ass day so I may endure another, and another, and another one still. Election day is such a fun exciting time for us election technician assistants i tell you. Seeing the whole process unfold from behind the scenes is sort of thrilling.... yet mostly boring once you get past all the unnecessary hype and hoopla.
I personally spent my night on the sidelines outside feeling fucked over by my would be supervisors. Oh well shit happens right all I know is I'm glad that its over and though I will not divulge what I felt about the results I must say this one thing

How the fuck does prop 8 not fail I mean come on. Homophobic or not you have no right to take away anyone elses right to be happy. What next they will be sectioned off from the rest of society in little corners of cities... how about the NO HOMOS signs hung up in front doors of businesses.... I just dont get how California of all places could pass such a step backwards in tolerance. Oh well maybe next time we'll get it right.

election day is almost apon us

do you know where your multi cultural bi-racial radical extremist bleeding heart ultra conservative sensible though not knowledgeable vote lies?

counting down the days til Monday October 20th

After that day no more idiots will be able to register to vote. I'm so happy registration closes finally. We've given these people like FOREVER to register for this huge upcoming election, but they still don't get it. Registration offices around the state of California are getting ready for the rush of every lame idiot who "forgot" or just plain did not care enough to get their registration form in on time. And of course the huge rush of people who make me wonder why you don't need a license to breed...."I didn't know you have to be registered in order to vote"
Really these people honestly think you can just show up to some random polling place on election day and let your voice be heard with no paperwork or anything to back up who the hell they are and where they hell they are from. I love our country we have such a delightful mix of intelligent, semi-intelligent and down right STUPID people, but as i see that last group keeps growing in numbers. As much as it was a stupid movie I can see the future becoming the world shown in Mike Judges movie "IDIOCRACY" honesty we are almost there.

Time to get Political

Got my ballot today and a few thoughts rushed to my head. Why are we spending so much time focusing on a presidential race like it is somehow any different then any race we have ever had in the past? What's so special about these guys. Honestly just think about it for a minute. He's Black and I'm black so that's suppose to make him a better choice for me? Or This guy is old and I'm old so that means he will somehow relate with me? Hey she's a woman and I to have a vagina therefore she has to be my choice for a VP? I just don't get it. When you all receive your ballots you may be pleasantly surprised to see alot of those same thoughts are spread through all the little parties as well.

American Independent Party
Alan Keys
Wiley S Drake SR vp

Peace and Freedom party
Ralph Nader (yes his ass is running again... are you really suprised?)
Matt Gonzalez vp (hey he'd be the first LATINO in office)

Liberitarian
Bob Barr
Wayne Root vp

Green Party
Cynthia McKinney (that's right you can still have a FEMALE PREZ)
Rosa Clemente vp(... and lets not forget her handy LATINA running mate)

Look people you don't have to stick with the status quo. I am so sick of this two party system we are forever stuck in. Its just straight bullshit that in a great country like the USA we find a way to limit our options on who will lead us in the future. I'm already sick of all this OBAMA v MCCAIN shit. Its old. Both are just your average POLITICIANS. McCain is an ex vet who will always look out for vets. What about us NON Vets what about us thinkers who thought better then to join the armed forces. He's an old timer and he I'm sure sees us as cowards and pussies. Frankly I hate having grown men treat me like I'm a child in order to MOLD me into what ever mindless shell they need to fight THEIR wars. Heaven forbid I choose a different path then that.
Oh and dont get me started on the "ROCK STAR" Barack Husein Obama. This guy is so much talk its amazing no one is seeing through any of it. I want change as much as the next guy, but what has this man done which has you so convinced he can make all these changes he's promised. Now i never expected him to pick Hillary as a running mate; anyone who thought that was about to happen after the war they had for all those months must haved been smoking some good shit i tell ya. But I must say a man who speaks so much for change choosing a no question about it WASHINGTON INSIDER like Joe Biden doesn't make a lot of sense. Biden is clearly what is called a CAREER congressman. He's been on capital hill so long if you cut him in half you would see RINGS like a Redwood tree, but each ring doesn't symbolize a year no it symbolizes a dirty deed. No offense but to stay in Washington as long as that man has You've had to have been party to plenty of shady shit. Well anyway why keep someone like that on a ticket of change. I mean if BIDEN was to be an instrument of change don't you think he would have CHANGED a ton of shitty policy over the course of 35 years. Are you freakin kidding me.
So yes I may be a little jaded with the system, but frankly i have been ever since I've learned those most precious words in our outdated broke ass voting system: ELECTORAL COLLEGE.
I mean if there was ever something that needed to be done away with. Fuck all the ignorant sports talk about the BCS and how it fucks things up or the Strength of Schedule rating that helps decides bubble teams fates in College Basketball. Come on. I live in CALIFORNIA therefore 9 times out of 10 a democrat will win my state no matter how I feel about them. No matter how many votes are cast by all the Californians combined it only breaks down into 55 votes/points/pollsters/ whatever the fuck its stupid. Now back in the day it might have made sense hand counting each vote sooo hard. Guess what i work in a registar's office. CPUs do the counting. In moments an entire county can be accounted for with little margin of error. Now with this kind of logic it wouldn't take long for each vote to count for each state. My word within hours by 1 or 2 am an entire election can be tabulated counting every single vote. Now explain to me why the electoral college needs to make the final decision? I just dont get it. Politics are a funny funny business. Thank god I've never wanted to be a leader. I'm happy to sit back bitch about it for a few hours and go on about my day.
GO AMERICA

More Sports More Fun

Oh how i love the world of SPORT. And October is one hell of a month when it comes to American Sport. You get to the heart of the football battle where you start weighing out the GOOD from the crap and by the close of the month you start to get an idea of who can be playoff bound and who should already call it a season. Then there is the fun of OCTOBER BASEBALL. Whether or not you are a rabid baseball fan or just couldn't give a damn OCTOBER is the month that matters. I personally have no teams involved seeing as I'm from the SF Bay Area and none of our sports teams can get it together. But anyway thats not all thats on tap Lets not forget a sport that I feel doesn't get the attention it deserves. HOCKEY season begins oh and of course there is always the beginning of the Basketball season. Yes my friends October is a month of sports joy, oh and it ends with Candy and costumed craziness. Oh how I love me some OCTOBER.
GO EAGLES
GO RAIDERS
GO SHARKS
GO PENGUINS
GO WARRIORS
GO SIXERS
GO ANGELS
GO CUBS
Not really caring about any team after the eagles but figure i should find people to root for in each division of each sport. Oh and of course there is always COLLEGE BALL
GO CAL (football and basketball)
GO DUKE (Basketball NEVER football though they have already won 3 games this year which triples there total wins over the past what DECADE hahahaha)
GO LADY VOLS (best basketball coach around.... male female it doesnt matter her ass rocks)
OK well I'm all sported out and it's time for me to work. So yeah I LOVE OCTOBER
