The blah that is APRIL

Don't really know what to say. Sometimes you just get to that point where you feel nothing but blah. Well I'm definitely all blahed out today. I'm just sitting watching Idol as they tell lies about this Adam kid. Sorry if I'm just holding a grudge but after his rendition of Ring of Fire I no longer want to hear what comes out of this little freaks mouth. At this point i just want them to either hand it to Danny Goekey or Allison and be done with the season. I'm so ready for so you think you can dance. Even though America's best dance crew is a huge success I don't feel its done enough to take the thunder that So You Think You Can Dance can bring. Oh interesting thought. I began this post thinking about how its April and already I'm bored with baseball and apparently so bored with the topic of baseball I'm now focusing on reality television. It's a crazy thought, Reality Television trumping America's past time on current pop culture's significance meter. How crazy is that. What next commercials officially taking over for the Superbowl? 2 hours of commercials with a 1 hour rundown of the game that was played like the day before. Oh what a sad troubling future i see before my eyes. We cannot let it be. We must fight this crazy tide of "REALITY" which is taking hold of us. So who's with me. I said WHO'S WITH ME! oh wait its almost ten Real World Road Rules challenge time. OK gotta run....

April thus far

Let's see what else is new. I've been enjoying my new responsibilities at work and making the ones who came before me look like douches. On Friday I was given a county vehicle and was told to do drop off with the 4 DMVs in the county. It was fun driving from Stockton to Lodi to Manteca and Tracy. Got to see parts of the county i had yet to explore and be out of the office for most of the day. Hope i get the chance to get out of the office more and more. Oh well good things come to those who wait.

Have come to a decision

I think I finally know what I am to do with my silly ass twitter account. Just like every social site it starts coming down to a fucked up popularity contest. See how many people you don't know or care about will follow you. I'm so far from caring about how many people will follow me, but I'm very interested in who I'm getting to follow me. I have noticed a most ludicrous fact with twitter mention and they will follow. So I've decided that's all I'm going to do. Mention some of the most ridiculous things and see if owners and or fans of the companies will follow. So far i have the CA LOTTERY, UFL, EL POLLO LOCO, Palm Pre Rumors, Fearvid.com, and some gambling website. I think this fact is very hilarious. So it is my mission to see who the hell i can get to follow me simply by making passing mentions of them whether it be good bad or indifferent.
As of now I don't see the point of twitter outside of seeing how stupid of a statement i can make in 140 words or interacting with my favorite wanna be reality stars or under the radar comedians. I have like NO close friends using the shit yet, but I'm usually the first person drug into these things anyway. I figure eventually my friends will make their way over to this new social site like they did all the others. As for now I'm happy to be on and hope to get many companies to follow my every word though the words mean nothing and will do them no good. Ain't the Internet GRAND?

Cute and Funny what a winning combo

I really don't get why this girl isn't more popular. She's definitely funny and she can border on hot depending on what you put her in. Frankly i liked her more as a brunette then as a blond, but the blond is working out for her so i guess can't knock success. Either way enjoy a cute little photo shoot with a very funny lady. I know her and Seth Rogen's movie is going to be damn funny.

Feel Free To Express Yourself

These are simply a couple of examples of ways I found to express myself. That or I was simply drunk and it seemed like a good idea at the time. I find that was often the case in my younger days. I've always tried to convince myself that I'm some sort of free spirit an artist in my own mind. The more I get to know myself I've come to find this couldn't be further from the truth. In fact I'm a bit uptight and at times can be a downer. Frankly this new discovery about myself has made me realize its time for change, for this is not the person I choose to be. I want to live my life with a song in my heart of gold and a witty retort on the tip of my tounge.... That's right I'm looking to become some sort of Gilmore girl. Its a shame how far my vision of myself is from my true self. No worries though this is all very changeable with a slight attitude adjustment and a chance to do something fun. What? I don't know maybe something like Vegas in June! My near future is going to be dedicated to making this trip happen. We (Nicoke & I) need this trip. I want to recapture the opportunity I wasted in Vegas. Sin City is suppose to be fun. After living the crap I lived there its going to take one hell of a trip to make that the case for myself. Discounted deal at the Bellagio, heart of the strip, with my awesome wife and if any friends decide to come equals one killer ass time. With or without a crew we are going to have a great time and hopefully acheive returning my fun nature as well as recapturing my love for Las Vegas, Nevada the best thing to happen to the desert since sand.

Twitter Rant

I find myself getting more and more wrapped up in the twitter world. Its a wonderfully delightful place full of TWEETS and TWEEPLE. OK this madness has got to stop. As i browse the Twitter site I see more and more people getting sucked into the world of TWEET. Celebrities and common folk alike are being sucked into it and frankly, I don't understand why. I can tweet til my hearts content, but it does not make me any more charming or any funnier then i was the day before. Why should anyone care what i have to say in 140 words or less each and every hour of the day. I wonder why people have stopped investing in a BLOG. You can update them as much as you want and can say as much as you want. Why deal with the restrictions of 140 words to get your views across. Feel free to check out my twitter either way. UFL overhyped MINOR league?

Frankly this should be the shortest blog I think i have ever written. To put things simply this UFL or United Football League which is quickly getting press is nothing more then Minor League football. I see nothing wrong with that though. Every other major professional sports have minor and/or developmental leagues why not the NFL? Also if you really think about it there is nothing different about the UFL. It's not a new concept its just another chance for a group of rich guys to make money on a sport that is a proven money maker. No more NFL Europe meant something new would have to come along. I hope the games are competitive and I hope the NFL rejects that wash out of NFL training camps get shots to prove their worth in this new league. Yes we all know the biggest name already headed to this new League is Mike Vick. Now there are only 4 teams with 6 games each so this will be a real quickie league with small paychecks and even smaller audiences (ending by thanksgiving doesn't eliminate the PRO and College competitions). I guess people in these locations should be happy that they will get a chance to enjoy any football action:

San Francisco: Can't believe the 49ers are being forced to move down the pennisula for a new stadium but this franchise is getting handed AT&T park

Sacramento: Football in California's capital. One can only hope it works out better then the attempt at BASKETBALL in the state's capital

NFL Free Agency

It's early on in the free agency period in the NFL and yet there have already been some interesting moves made. Well not really to interesting, but I know this next year it's going to be hard being an Eagle fan. As it stands now my team has lost Buckhalter (not really a big deal though he is an accomplished back up) and Dawkins(hands down my favorite player on the team who i was hoping would have the opportunity to retire as an Eagle) to the Broncos. Now that's two players gone and yet nothing brought in. Housmanzadeh doesn't look to be heading to Philly as I'd hoped and even if he does slip into free agency I know my team won't put up the money to bring Marvin Harrison in. Now with our lack of moves we might as well trade Donovan since we aren't planning on being much of a factor next season it would seem.
The biggest news as of yet seems to be coming out of the AFC west. As mentioned the Broncos and their new Regime have scooped up Dawkins and Buckhalter from the Eagles as well as J.J. Arrington from the defending NFC champ cardinals. As that was going on the Chiefs were able to make a Steal of a trade. I don't care who you are and how much you doubt him outside of the patriots system but to give up MATT CASSEL and a proven linebacker in MIKE VRABEL for just a second round pick seems like the dumbest move on the planet. What were the Patriots thinking. Yeah i know Brady's coming back and no one is going to pay a back up QB 14.5 million dollars but a SECOND ROUND PICK when you are giving up 2 stars of your team from last season obviously someone has been taking hits from Micheal Phelps bong.
Now for all you Niner fans it would be a HUGE deal if you could woo kurt Warner to your team. That deal would pretty much be the only way you can gurantee more then 3 wins next season. You realize you just signed a guy from the titans who in 16 games last season only managed 41receptions 449 yards and a single touchdown. Seems to me that's not much of an improvement on what you already have on your squad. The problem isn't so much the receiving core its the lack of anyone to get the ball into their hands. Oh well maybe you guys could work something out with my crappy team who have a QB and only one person on the squad who proved they could catch anything too bad he's the running back that we run ragged. I tell you what I officially quit my team when they let westbrook go. I mean right now my beloved Eagles this off season have lost

Oscar Sunday freaky Sunday

Well It’s that time of the year. We sit back and watch our favorite thespians garner the accolades they deserve… yes that’s right i went to College for a little bit bitches back up off me…. I love watching the long drug out show simply referred to as OSCARS…. This will be a pretty cool Academy Awards Show in my opinion. I must admit I’m honestly frightened of what gibberish we will be forced to endure if Mickey Rourke comes away with a victory.  I am still puzzled as to how it comes to pass that Slumdog Millionaire (simply put the biggest movie of the year by FAR) has no nominations for acting.

Well it’s about T-minus 4 hours and counting until the show. Time to get the snacks ready possibly something fancy like prosciutto and brie with a glass of white wine (who am I kidding. Cheetos and Boones Farm is much more likely) All I can say is hope everyone out there in internet land gets a chance to enjoy the show like I hope i will.
